QUARTZ

Quartz is a man-made stone surface compound. It offers strength, durability and is highly stain resistant. It does not require sealing to protect it from stains and damaging chemicals because it is completely nonporous.

Quartz is a nonporous rock that crystallizes directly from magma. Quartz is harder than granite. This hardness is second only to a diamond. It is composed of silicon dioxide (SiO2) and is one of the most abundant materials on earth. Primarily as the fundamental component of many igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary. In form of "rock crystal" it is confused with some types of gemstones. It is used for its hardness in many important industrial processes (optics, radio, watchmakers, jewelers, glass, and many others). Having no porosity is considered a wonderful anti antibacterial element. In nature there are a variety of colors, which together with its other properties, makes it a material of great value for mankind.

In proportions of 94% quartz and 6% silicon are used to manufacture highly compact hard and heavy nonporous sheets which translates into the resulting product the qualities of quartz.

These sheets are used by us to manufacture countertops, vanities, fireplaces, finishes for floors and walls in a variety of colors that you love just seeing.

Because of it's versatility, aesthetics, durability, ease of maintenance, scratch resistance and antibacterial quality we offer our customers one of the best man-made sheets: Silestone

Corrosive substances such as ammonia, acids, etc., are harmful to this type of material and can cause visible damage. For heavily soiled surfaces, we recommend using a mixture of water and a small amount of chlorine. In daily cleaning, a simple washcloth with soap diluted in water will suffice.
